Got hit past a rock, small flake that has started to slowly spread. This on a '01 Sonoma. Would a shot of super glue stop the spread?

Use Super Mucilage for Glass, or Loctite glue for glass. It'south worth a try, though with extremes of estrus and cold information technology may not last. Once it's become larger than a quarter, the windshield needs replacing past law in virtually states.

Don't waste matter your time and energy, OpanaPointer . . . From my experience . . . most, if not all "Windshield Chip / Crack Quick Fixes" are nothing more than Band-Aids and a replacement is inevitable. Good Luck

I take had several fries repaired and lastest very well. The principal matter is to become it filled before water gets into information technology. That makes the crack spread once the sun hits it.

Super mucilage will not work. It appears to practice so - for a mean solar day or two. Then information technology peels off leaving white flakes on the glass. What you want to do is to accept buddy to gently press on the glass from the inside where it was hit. That really "opens" cracked area some and acrylic will get deeper into the glass. Information technology may really expect quite scary as information technology shows you ENTIRE crack. Only resin so soaks into the triplex, between plastic and outer glass, and holds much improve. I had information technology done several times and it works quite well.

The kit from the car parts store works slap-up. If you do it right, it may make the chip disappear, or exist much less noticeable. Have done several of them and information technology works slap-up.
